Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 Support

Some of the Razer Chroma lighting effects that I see on my other peripherals don’t seem to sync on my Razer Kraken 7.1 V2?
The Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 has Razer Chroma breathing, static and spectrum cycling effects enabled. If you try to sync any other effects onto the headset, it will not work.
What is active mic noise-cancellation?
The Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 uses a secondary microphone to record ambient noise, which is then supressed via a complex algorithm, so only the speaker’s voice can be heard clearly through noisy environments.
Does this mean that all noise in the background is cancelled out?
Active noise-cancelling seeks to cancel as much noise as possible, but not all noise can be cancelled out. We are continuing to improve the technology to give you the best possible communication capability.
I can’t toggle on or off my active mic noise cancellation in Razer Synapse. Why?
Please ensure all voice-enabled apps like Razer Comms, Skype, Discord, in-game chat, etc.) are turned off, or killed, before toggling active mic noise cancellation on.
Does the Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 work with the PS4?
The Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 can be connected to the PS4 through the USB port, and outputs stereo sound.
How do I clean my Razer headset?
We cannot say with certainty what type of dirt and debris may be on your product, or how certain cleaning products may react with it, but we have had good luck cleaning Razer products using commonly available monitor cleaning wipes. To clean the body of your Razer headset please take a monitor wipe and use gentle wiping motions. Do not scrub the surface of your Razer headset.

When cleaning the earpads on your headset, take extra care to not get any liquids inside the earcup and onto the speaker itself, as this may damage your headset.

My Razer headset is out of warranty. Is there any way it can be repaired?
Razer products are designed to work well beyond when the warranty has expired. However, If you feel your headset is having issues we first suggest trying the headset on another computer/source to insure the issue is with the headset and not something within the computer system or source. If you have narrowed the issue to the headset itself there is not really a cost effective repair center that would be able to assist you. Razer does make available some basic external spare parts at http://www.razerzone.com/store/gaming-accessories , but we are unable to supply any internal parts or repair guides.
Where can I find the serial number on my Kraken Headset?
You will find the serial number located under the left ear pad of the headset. (The side where the microphone is if your version of the Kraken has one). To view the serial number, rotate the ear cushion counter-clock wise to release it.

The serial number should start with two Alpha characters and be followed by 13  characters.  You can also find the serial number on the bottom panel of the original retail box.
I hear echo/feedback when using my Razer Kraken Pro. How can I solve this?
Here are a few suggestions that may help.
- Be sure the microphone is fully extended when in use.  If you try to use the mic in the stored position you will pick up sounds from your speakers.
- Ensure that ""Listen to this device""  is not selected under Control Panel >Sound > Recording > Properties > Listen
- Check that your sensitivity levels are not set to max or boosted too much under Control Panel >Sound > Recording > Properties > Levels
- Ensure that only one voice chat application is in use while in-game
- Check that you are configured to use the proper microphone under  Control Panel >Sound > Recording > Select proper Microphone > Set Default Device/Communications Device
- Ensure your computer supports the combined audio jack. If not, please use the included audio/mic splitter cable.

The microphone isn't sensitive enough.  It will only pick up my voice when I turn up the microphone to max sensitivity through windows.  And when I do that, it adds static and distorts my voice. How can I fix this?

What are some examples of a “Proof of Purchase” to provide when initiating an RMA?
A valid proof of purchase is defined as a dated sales receipt from an authorized Razer Reseller. The receipt must show the product description and price. Invoice slips and e-mail order confirmations can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Why does Razer require a proof of purchase?
Razer must verify that the product is within the specified warranty period and that it was purchased from an authorized reseller. Products purchased from unauthorized dealers are often used, counterfeit, re-boxed, defective or gray market goods. These units may also not be designed and packaged to work in your country and may not meet all legal and safety requirements.  Razer will not be able to honor a warranty on products purchased from an unauthorized dealer or that are out of the warranty period.  If you purchased product from an unauthorized reseller, all support and warranty issues should be directed to that reseller.
